My Experience with MBT Barabara Sneakers, Kymba From Berkeley, CA
Amazing! It’s difficult to describe the feeling of the effect, while on occasion you feel motion it’s not unstable in an alarming way. I wore them a couple hours at home on carpet, then took them to work the next day and did 8+ hours!.
They are very easy to wear, and interesting, too. I was really thinking about how I was walking all day. Halfway through the day I realized I could feel the muscles had been working from hips to knees, and I hadn’t been climbing stairs.
I wore Dansko the next day and missed the fun of the MBT’s, but my feet felt comfortable and everything was fine. I bought the Barbara’s to wear for office work, now I want a pair of the athletic style for walking workouts. These are too nice; don’t want to scuff them up.
Definitely know your proper size, I just saw this in an existing review and we frequently guess or assume we know based on measurements years ago and what we’re wearing now, when we all know that sizes vary by company. MBT will run at least a half size small; I’m an 8.5 or 39 and I ordered the 9’s. They fit perfectly with thin socks. I can’t wear big fluffy cotton socks, which I wear with boots all winter.
I’m really happy I took the plunge on these, though at another sale site because they didn’t have my size in stock here, rather than saving $$ on the Skechers knock-offs. MBT markets the idea and its benefits, Skechers advertises Miracle Weight-Loss Shoes, Walk off the Pounds and that’s just crooked, y’know?
